Ludovico Einaudi

Brighton was in the presence of a true genius as Italian pianist Ludovico Einaudi brought his new album, In A Time Lapse, to the Concert Hall at Brighton Dome. Armed with an incredible ensemble of musicians, Einaudi’s new material was both conceptual and stunning. With a small solo break in the second half, Einaudi entranced the audience with some of his earlier work which has been used in various films and TV programmes including Shane Meadows’ This Is England. With a simple yet evocative light display accentuating the depth and power of Einaudi’s repertoire, this was an evening that astounded a very satisfied, sold out venue.
