Crash closes A27 Brighton Bypass near Southwick Tunnel
The A27 Brighton Bypass was closed near the Southwick Tunnel this morning (Friday 1 November) after a crash at about 7am.

Passers-by freed the driver, Sussex Police said. She was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton but was not thought to have been seriously hurt.
The eastbound side of the road is closed with traffic being diverted along the A270 Old Shoreham Road at Holmbush.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
