Haim

After a well-recieved performance at The Great Escape festival two years ago, these three absurdly talented sisters haven’t stopped showing off their energetic and stylish rock sound, taken from debut album ‘Days Are Gone’. “Being back in Brighton means a lot to us as this is where it all started,” lead guitarist and middle child Danielle declares to a hugely excited crowd. Well, we couldn’t be more happy to have Haim back, especially in the Brighton Dome’s tremendous Concert Hall.

Raised on 1970s classic rock thanks to their musical parents, there is a regular comparison to Fleetwood Mac made more prominent on Friday by their superb cover of ‘Oh Well’. Furthermore, Haim managed to invoke a plethora of 70s and 80s rock greats – both female and male – while retaining a incredible sense of individuality through their music.
