Come and spend an evening with a great man. Paddy O’Keefe’s one man show is like visiting an elderly relative recounting humorous tales of their glory days. His well-known (often self-proclaimed) genius is evident as wonderful witticisms are sprinkled throughout. We are dealing with a massive ego here, but O’Keefe’s tour-de-force performance portrays him as a lovable old rogue; the superman becomes a real man. We also learn about Shaw’s political convictions and the price he paid for sticking to them. Shaw wanted to make the world a better place, and we are better people for having spent this evening with him.
