The future is green

The Eco Technology Show is a ‘must attend’ event for anyone interested in the latest innovations for energy management, eco build, transport, technology, and resource efficiency. Returning to Brighton on 26 and 27 June at the Brighton Centre, the Show highlights ways that embracing innovation in technology and low carbon solutions can save money and deliver genuine ongoing benefits to businesses, cities and communities.

Highlights of the show include:
The Transport Zone is an entire floor of the latest electric and low-emission vehicles including BMW’s electric i3 and i8 hybrid supercar; Mitsubishi’s Outlander – the world’s first plug-in SUV; the ground-breaking Tesla Model S and Roadster; Vauxhall’s Ampera; plus a range of electric bikes. Fleetdrive Electric will also launch a new Smart EV app for mobile devices, designed for EV drivers to find the nearest charging points along a route.


Over 140 exhibitors with products, solutions and advice including: gadgets and new innovations in eco technology, architects, recycling and waste, building materials and supplies, project management, LED lighting, green roofs, water-saving technologies, energy management products, reporting and consultancy. Renewable energies and heat-saving solutions including ventilation and insulation, wood burning stoves, biomass boilers, solar, wind, hydro, ground and air source heat pumps, energy assessments thermal panels plus lots more!

Over 70 free workshops and talks designed to give you the most relevant, up-to-the-minute information from some of the country’s leading specialists. Including energy efficiency and sustainability, future of technology, domestic retrofit, saving money on commercial and domestic energy bills, Green Deal and Renewable Heat Incentive updates, the future of transportation, zero carbon homes, and the benefits of renewable energy in the home.

The new Big Debate area is a chance to have your say with topics including: the benefits arising from shifting to a lower carbon economy; Brighton and Hove city regions plans to develop a ‘super-fused’ economy using the City Deal, building on the creative, digital and environmental technology sectors, innovations in building and transport and how they fit with the ‘circular economy’. Our Energy Future: fracking, biofuels or renewables, and the future opportunities for community energy.

Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive update: with the recent launch of the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), a government financial incentive scheme that provides payments to encourage the installation of renewable heating technologies in homes. The Department of Energy and Climate Change is conducting a series of talks at the show to inform people about the potential benefits of renewable heat and the RHI. The Communications Hub is where you can get a quick answer to your questions from an expert, meet others with a shared interest or pick up some information across the show’s key themes including: renewable heat, energy generation and management, buildings and energy efficiency, sustainable and future cities, innovation, funding and business growth, transport, water and waste. Each day a number of sessions will bring interested parties together.

In its second year, the Landlord Investment Show has co-located with the Eco Technology Show and is all about connecting landlords, investors, developers and property professionals with industry leaders and suppliers who can help with all aspects of buy-to-let.
