Brighton residents step up efforts to save bus services

Residents in Meadowview have met with bus company bosses over the possible reduction in services.

Route 37 and 37b – currently operated by Compass buses, are under threat because they are not financially viable.

Over 50 people attended the meeting and aired their concerns over a cut in night services.

The company’s managing director Chris Chatfield said there would be no need for changes before September 2016.
