Brighton charity launches new scheme to reduce homelessness

Now, homelessness is a massive problem on the city’s streets with numbers of rough sleepers steadily increasing in recent years.

In 2011 there were 588 people on the streets.

That increased to 732 in 2012.

And in the last two years that number has hovered around 1 thousand.

But a new support service is aiming to provide an early intervention for people who could lose their homes – Latest TV’s Caroline Rundell reports.
