A Bedfull Of Foreigners

‘Allo Allo’ meets Fawlty Towers? Set in a run down hotel in France, the farce centres on two couples who are double booked for a room they ultimately have to share. In fairness the script was pretty lame and some of the accents were unconvincing to say the least. However Damian Williams who (though camper than a row of tents) played the unexpected lothario, clearly thrives on live theatre and turned every mistake or unexpected moment into a cheeky ad-lib with inevitable cast corpsing. That and some eye candy for the gents certainly made this a more enjoyable evening. Bawdy but fun.
