Arabian Nights

Windmill Young Actors present ‘Arabian Nights’ – the enchanting tale of how Scheherazade uses her gift of storytelling to evade imminent death and save the women of the city. The cast delivered a captivating performance which was laugh-out-loud funny, impassioned and spirited, while interacting well with audience members.

Stage production encompassed an effective use of lighting and sound effects coupled with a congenial live musical accompaniment of flute and violin. The fact that these actors are young is irrelevant, award-winning Director Tanushka Marah showcased some promising new talent. Highly recommended for story lovers of all ages, the perfect pre-requisite to the festive season.
