Tony Law: Frillemorphesis

Law’s Frillemorphesis presented his trademark freeform mania with a twist of the confessional and self-analytical. There were mixed results: some of the routines are, as Law admits himself, very new and with slightly lacklustre payoffs. He also hides behind barriers, literally and figuratively, which prevent the audience from fully engaging. In the past I’ve seen him break down even the stuffiest audiences until everyone involved is a guffawing wreck. That didn’t happen here but there was still plenty to like for Law lovers from horse mic techniques to the class system within WW2 bombers. One for his fans.
