Four masked men rob cash from Hove bank
Four masked men – armed with a machete and an angle grinder – are believed to have stolen thousands after raiding a bank.
Officers were called to Santander in George Street, Hove at around 11.40pm last night.
It is believed the gang smashed their way through the bank’s glass doors.
The suspects stole a ‘cassette’ used in the cash machines but it is not yet known how much money was inside.
The suspects then drove off down Haddington Street in a blue Volkswagen.
I do wish you could get the correct information. The picture of the Santander branch you show closed a long time ago. The branch involved is on the other side of George Street. It’s a pity as BBC South no longer covers Brighton.
