Beauty And The Beast

Beauty and The Beast was this year’s choice for Shoreham’s pantomime and as always, it entertained all who attended. This was not the usual story a traditional pantomime would choose so it was interesting to see how they would tackle what is normally a dark fairy tale.

On this occasion it seemed the energy was low throughout, plus a challenging audience, technical issues and weaker voices than usual, hindered the proceedings. Despite this, there were brilliant moments from Dame Andy Power-Tate with his comedic timing and innuendos, and the second half more than compensated for the first.
