Comedy: Alex Horne – Seven Years in a Bathroom

Acclaimed comedy comes to Shoreham

Fitting an entire average lifetime into one hour takes some doing, but with some careful timing, no shortage of PowerPoint illustrations and a large number of intelligent and plain silly laughs mixed in together, Alex Horne manages to do just that.

This is Horne’s show that did so well at the Brighton Comedy Festival in October, now touring and coming back to our neck of the woods – to our great delight. Working out that we spend on average seven years of our lives in the bathroom is just one of the rather incredible statistics brought to light in this show. Using a smidge of audience participation (don’t sit in the front row if you hate the idea of joining in) and a lot of incredible ingenuity, this is a beautiful show brought together with love and a giant egg timer.
