Omid Djalili – Tour Of Duty

An overweight political pixie skipped about the stage, delivering barbs and jollies regarding everything from the Arab Spring to Godzilla. Bringing his customary mix of racial and cultural observations with the downright silly and and more than a little ‘friendly’ lambasting, Omid Djalili is a comic who still throws his all into a show. He kept his show both location- and time-sensitive, while also seeming to fully embrace the opportunity for fun. As did the whole ‘ensemble’ including above par for a support act Boothby Graffoe, whose set seemed too short for the amount of silly and clever joy he delivered.
