Melissa Etheridge

American rocker Melissa Etheridge’s first-ever Brighton gig was a loud, fun, energetic evening, as she entertained an excitable audience of all ages. Full of passion and positive energy, she belted both new hits and old favourites in a gravelly, smoky voice that more than filled the whole Dome. Despite the size of the venue, Melissa made a point of interacting with her audience, creating an intimate, friendly show. We were invited to join in with harmonies, clapping and singing along; and the atmosphere was one of playfulness, with Melissa and her band obviously enjoying themselves as much as her fans were.
