Legally Blonde Fest
To celebrate the West End smash hit musical Legally Blonde coming to Brighton, the Theatre Royal Brighton had a Legally Blonde Fest in the Pavilion Gardens.
The boys and girls from MGA Academy of Performing Arts based in Brighton, performed Bend & Snap from the hit musical. Together with BHAFC’s Gully’s Girls and loads of prizes to be won in a lucky dip, including tickets to the musical and to pose as Elle and Bruiser in the fabulous photo board, there was the “best dressed pooch” competition which was won by Lady Pip & Arty, with owner, Darren Ferris, and tickets to the show were presented by Lisa Goddard, who was performing in Star Quality at the Theatre Royal Brighton.

Roger Daltrey
The Ropetackle venue played host to Simon Townshend on 29 February and there was a special announcement just a week before the show with news that Roger Daltrey would be joining Simon on stage. Suffice to say, tickets for the show quickly sold out. If you missed it, here’s a sneak peek at Roger’s appearance!

Evolution Arts
Evolution Arts offers a wide variety of courses and workshops from yoga to contemporary dance. To mark their 20th anniversary, a special Taster Day was held on Sunday 4 March.
As well as a choice of 20 ‘tasters’, every attendee was offered a special edition anniversary shopper! If you missed out, put the next Taster Day date is on Sunday 2 September.

The Big Cheer
Amaze, the charity supporting parents with children with special needs, and its patrons held a stand-up comedy night at Brighton Dome, on 1 March in association with Baby Cow Productions Limited, aptly named The Big Cheer 2012.
Comics included Jason Cook, Jenny Eclair, Ian Moore, Justin Moorhouse, Graham Duff, Simon Evans and Julie Jepson.

Love Is All We Need
Love is All We Need is a UK-based charity that provides for the basic human needs of children suffering the impact of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in South Africa. They currently support The Hope Centre in the KwaZulu-Natal province.
A presentation and awareness evening was held at the Hilton Metropole Brighton on 25 February. The evening was a great success – not only did they manage to sign up 19 new regular donors, but they were offered a diversity of pro-bono services, which will help them meet their goals for the coming year.
