Labrinth
If you’re going to tour before your album is even out then you’ve got to bring something pretty good. The dapperly-dressed and clearly talented Labrinth did, only they were mainly his collaborations with other artists.
A cover of ‘Express Yourself’, with a bit of Stevie Wonder thrown in was a first half highlight, while he surprised with his natural front man swagger and better than expected voice.
‘Let the Sunshine’ and ‘Earthquake’, featuring an unexpected appearance from Wretch 32, were good but it was Ms Dynamite’s ‘Neva Soft’ and Tinie Tempah’s ‘Frisky’ and ‘Pass Out’ that really stole the show.
