Funny Women – March

Funny Women really highlighted the best in comedy talent from a female perspective. The main headliner Katherine Ryan kept the audience entertained with her sharp and sexy Canadian wit whilst fusing traditional and cutting edge comedic observations on motherhood, British life and love. Sadly she tried too hard on most of the material to make it funny which let the side down. She was very ably supported by Ishi Kahn Jackson, Iona Dudley-Ward, the extremely talented Janet Bettesworth, hilariously surreal act Ladies Live Longer and the ever so consistent ‘people pleaser’ Lara A King. Claire Lomas’ charming and quirky hosting skills and songs made the evening run smoothly also.
