David Essex – All the Fun of the Fair

Following his UK tour, 70’s musical legend Sir David Essex, performed tracks from his album alongside a story produced by Jon Conway.

Essex stars as mysterious Levi, the owner of a travelling fun fair, whose troubled son falls in love with the daughter of a ruthless townie father. Unfortunately, their fates are doomed as the warring sides react in a clash of anger.

Stage lighting was colourful and complimented the actors’ choreography alongside fairground stalls and carousels. Hits included ‘It’s Gonna Be Alright’, ‘Here We Are Together’, and ‘Gonna Make You A Star’. The story was a little predictable, but the show promises copious fun and entertainment.
