Beauty And The Beast

A youth production always ensures a packed house and this performance was no exception. The production itself was a theatrical version of the Disney classic and a very lavish production it was too. It’s important to state that the entire cast and crew were children and so whilst there were issues (sound mic’s, interminably long/silent set changes and some dubious acting) the show should be seen as a stepping stone in these young performers’ lives. ‘Anyone4Theatre’ gave theatrical opportunities to some 50 or so performers and it was certainly the mass ensemble pieces that provided the best entertainment of the evening.
