Two held after man attacked in Brighton
A 22-year-old man was knocked unconscious and suffered a suspected broken jaw when he was attacked in Brighton in the early hours of this morning (Friday 13 April).
The attack happened just after midnight in East Street, Brighton.
A paramedic crew from the South East Coast Ambulance Service called Sussex Police to the incident.
Officers arrested two men on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) near Pavilion Gardens a few minutes later.
Two 23-year-old men, one from Brighton and one from Hove, were still in custody at lunchtime.
Sussex Police urged anyone who saw the attack to call officers on 101.
