World of Wrong

The Two Wrongies’ ‘World of Wrong’ is one of the most fearless, adult shows you could ever stumble across at the Brighton Fringe. It is also deeply, brilliantly silly. Avis Cockbill and Janine Fletcher’s performances mix choreography and clowning to genuinely jaw-dropping effect, eliciting gasps and cheers alike from the crowd. As their cheerfully twisted imaginations stripped away any safety net of tastefulness, the tedious titillations of burlesque looked hopelessly tame in comparison. The filmed inserts were a mixed bag of low-budget fun, although the duo’s animated adventures were childishly delightful. National treasure, keys to the city stuff.
