Brighton’s long lost cinemas guided walk

Brighton has a rich cinematic history, not only starring in films but playing host to at one time over 25 cinemas across the city, as well as many others popping up all over the city at other times in shop fronts, purpose built majestic halls and even in a wrestling booth! A fascinating trail around Brighton, well researched and presented by the tour’s guide and creator Julian Clapp, this chilly Sunday morning was a horn of plenty packed full with engaging facts and stories. And a glint of hope that that time of cinematic opulence may yet return.
