Talon – The Best of The Eagles

Whilst the The Eagles music is iconic/classic, the band members live in relative anonymity. A bonus for a tribute group as the focus is on the music rather than the visual similarities, and Talon were spot on when it came to the music. The duel guitar harmonies, a recognisable Eagle trademark, were beautifully and delicately re-enacted with aplomb. The multi-instrumentalists took you to the places The Eagles originally did, deep Americana drenched with dangerous women, camaraderie/friendship and drizzled with TexMex flavours. The full repertoire of hits were covered spanning the full Eagle back catalogue and solo output. ‘Hotel California’ and ‘Desperado’ closed a great performance.
