The Black Dog And Other Influences

Articulate, passionate, disordered, confusing – like the bipolar disorder this theatrical piece hoped to convey it seemed to encapsulate it in its very structure and presentation. But it knows this, as the two players each shouted for “line!” and discussed the lack of linear order present 40 minutes into the show.

Well acted, delivered with conviction, it’s difficult to know what to make of it though. Which is perhaps the point. Delivering as it does the confused, excited and bewildered mind it seeks to communicate the essence of.
