Brit Floyd

Sailing majestically out into the busy shipping lanes of the Pink Floyd tribute market are Brit Floyd. Already out there, the is Australian Pink Floyd, no doubt there is a German Floyd, a Floyd USA, a green, a blue, a pink Pink Floyd. There is even a real Pink Floyd, presently becalmed in their own choppy waters, but no match for the perfection Damian Darlington, leader and musical director, brings to the Brits. First off, he is a genuine fan with the zeal to recreate, and a superb musician, as are the others. With all the tools at their disposal the big production numbers are spectacular but touchingly their pared down rendition of ‘See Emily Play’, an early sixties hit, is as authentic as you will ever hear. Watch out. The Brits are coming.
