Bugle Boy – The Glenn Miller Musical
Glenn Miller as an individual was boring/unasuming and dull. The only thing of interest about him was his mysterious death. The interest lies in his music and that side of the story was told well, the rise of an average-good trombonist searching for his own band and an unique sound that would become his trademark. And the music was fantastic, the live band really packed a punch. There were some technical issues; dialogue drowned out when the band played and some really inappropriate technical gremlins at poignant places didn’t help. I hope the rest of their run is glitch free because its a fine nostalgic romp otherwise.
