The Delectable Doctor Brown

After a successful stint at the Brighton Family Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe and London’s Soho Theatre, Doctor Brown and his Singing Tiger return to Brighton this weekend. Expect family-friendly adventure, comedy, pineapples, singing (naturally), BMX finale (sort of) and incredibly tight tennis shorts.

“Absurd, unpredictable, weird, noisy, wonderful, original, surreal, oh, and very funny”

Award-winning performers Doctor Brown and Stuart Bowden will be at the Brighton Dome on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 July, delivering their own unique take on life seen through adult’s and children’s eyes. Expect some audience participation. Tip: if you don’t want to get chosen, move away from the front.

Absurd, unpredictable, weird, noisy, wonderful, original, surreal, oh, and very funny, we saw this show at the Hurly Burly as part of the Brighton Festival Fringe back in May, and were suitably amused and delighted. If you only go to see Doctor Brown’s shorts, it’s worth it.

We have a free family ticket to giveaway (2 adults & 2 children) for the performance on Sunday 8 July at 2pm. To be in with a chance to win, simply subscribe to Brighton Starling’s regular newsletter. The competition closes at 5pm on Saturday 7 July.
