Help find missing Hove woman

Photographs have been released of a missing Hove woman and a man from Portslade.

Laura Chapman, 26, a hairdresser’s receptionist, of Westbourne Gardens, has not been seen since she left for work on Tuesday morning (10 July).

She did not show up which Sussex Police said was completely out of character for her.

She was also seen on Monday evening (9 July) in the company of Stephen Webber, 41, as she left a property in George William Mews, Portslade, at 11.30pm. Mr Webber returned by himself about 20 minutes later.

Sussex Police said that Miss Chapman may be with Mr Webber. She knows him through modelling for photographic assignments.

Her family and police have been unable to contact either of them and concern is growing as they are not returning telephone calls or texts.

Detective Inspector Mick Jones, from Brighton CID, said: “The longer that we are unable to contact the couple then the more that we and her family are becoming concerned for her welfare.”

He asked anyone who had seen them or knew their whereabouts to call Sussex Police on 101.
