This week: Jim Mitchell, creator of Over The Moon festival
“The inspiration for this event came out of a desire to create something that was more than just a music festival; it’s a celebration of all of the arts combined, where everyone can come together and express their creativity freely and with a strong focus on educational elements. This year we have a lot more to offer in terms of music, installation art and wild party games. At the same time we have held onto our core ethos of providing talks and workshops that enrich and help knit together the wider community, while raising awareness of a more sustainable way of life.”
Jim Mitchell, the creator of Over The Moon, a festival which is a celebration of life described through the arts. This festival will take place at the Autumn Equinox (14–16 September), in a beautiful field in the Weald just a stone’s throw from the Sussex Downs. Over the Moon Festival Festival is a carbon neutral event, powered by wind, sun, vegetable oil, people and love. With lots of activities such as music, circus, workshops, talks and family entertainment. For more info and tickets: www.overthemoonfestival.com
This sounds like a fantastic event, I am really looking forward to going along on Saturday for the weekend. A great mix of arts, music, workshops, talks and carbon neutral event. Very good!
