Celeb City: James Morrison joins the stars for Peace One Day, plus Kasabian’s Ian Matthews & Lord Alan Sugar

One fine day

The other week we were delighted to work with the fantastic Peace One Day organisation on their concert for Peace 2012, headlined by the one-and-only Sir Elton John! Being in charge of the press area meant we not only had to make sure Sir Elton was snapped before his amazing performance, but that Peace One Day Ambassadors Jude Law, Lilly Cole and Eliza Doolittle, as well as Hove local and singer-songwriter James Morrison, were looked after in the press room. The concert proved a huge success, with us JBPR girls left watching ‘Your Song’ from the side of the stage as the crowd cheered on. The night ended with a fantastic after party thrown by Peace One Day founder Jeremy Gilley, attended by the likes of Jude Law and Sean Pertwee.

WAGs love MAC
Brighton & Hove Albion Polish goalkeeper, Tomasz Kuszczak, was spotted in the MAC make-up shop in Brighton with his three children and wife. Since joining from Premier League giants Manchester United, Tomasz has been sensational in goal for the Seagulls.

Alex zips up
Alex Reid has recently denied that he will be releasing a tell-all book about his life and more importantly, life with Chantelle Houghton before and since the birth of their daughter, Dolly. Hopefully the tug of war with tabloids comes to an end soon as it seems each of the pair are approaching different magazines
to talk to, whilst the other of the two schemes their next move. We know the people of Brighton can’t get enough of Jordan’s ex so we’ll be updating you on the ongoing saga as it unfolds…

Lord Sugar flies in
Brighton tweet of the week comes from Lord Alan Sugar (@Lord_Sugar), who proclaimed: “Flew to Shoreham today and went into Brighton. Have not been there for years. Great town, reminder of the lanes, great lunch at English’s.” Well, if it’s good enough for Lord Sugar…

Kasabian style
Ian Matthews, drummer for Kasabian, was at Hove Town Hall on Friday 21 September to hand out graduation certificates to all 178 students graduating from BIMM.

Spotted!
Lorraine’s sofa buddy and Sunday Times journalist Eleanor Mills eating at Moshi Moshi. It seemed Eleanor had squeezed in a trip to her favourite seaside restaurant, to top up on the Omega-3, before speaking at a concert.
