Festival Of The Spoken Nerd gathers together Helen Arney (music and physics), with Steve Mould (science expert for Blue Peter), and Matt Parker (maths journalist), merging their expertise with panache and comedy to produce a fantastic live show involving evolution, graphs, naked flames of various colours, and even a battle between overhead projection apparatus. Smart and sassy, the show is not only entertaining it’s incredibly educational in a fun and slightly dangerous way, as if you were challenged with constructing your own light sabre. Brilliantly engaging on so many levels and highly entertaining.
