Dangerous Obsession
George Telfer (played by John Barrett, teetering on the edge of uncontrollable anger) wants answers to his wife’s duplicitous life, subsequent car crash and unpicks the lies one by one. He thinks The Driscolls (a couple he met at a business convention) may be able to help, assisted by his Smith & Western. This wasn’t an old-fashioned whodunit, you could guess the killer before the interval. However, the unravelling of the cover up and exposure to the web of deceit was delightfully tense. Both Anna Brecon and Ben Roddy played the warring and emotional Driscoll’s well against Barrett’s angst-ridden heartache. A cracker of a thriller.
