Brighton Cougars bags sponsorship deal with local headhunter

Brighton & Hove’s biggest basketball club, Brighton Cougars, has signed a sponsorship deal with Brighton-based headhunting firm Lime Search.

The club, which has more than 200 playing members ranging from five-year-olds and teenagers to men’s and women’s squads, regularly challenges for local league and cup trophies.

Brighton Cougars chairman, Jon Lloyd, said: “This sponsorship agreement with Lime Search means we can plough much-needed funds back into the club so that more and more local people of all ages can find out why basketball is the fastest growing sport in the country.”

Their new sponsor is a boutique executive search firm focused on recruiting senior professionals into the energy sector.

Lime Search director Nasim Shakoori said: “As part of our important social responsibility aims, Lime is proud to sponsor Brighton Cougars Basketball Club and look forward to supporting them through the coming season.”
