Mystery Jets
Having been a part of the tidal wave of British indie bands in the early noughties, Mystery Jets have always been fighting a battle to carve a niche and original sound for themselves. They do this quite well, unlike support band Temples, who firmly belong in the landfill indie heap with their derivative and inoffensive offerings. Things quickly turned around with a succession of glorious sing-along anthems courtesy of the headliners which would have warmed even the coldest of punters on this chilly November night. New material was kept to a minimum whilst the best was saved for last with a rousing rendition of ‘Two Doors Down’ leaving goosebumps which lasted all the way home.
