Mansfield Park

If like me, you’re a bit possessive about your Jane Austen, and about Fanny Price her one really good heroine, then you’ll be pleased to know that no liberties have been taken. Indeed, so confident is this production that they have attached the full script to the programme! This immaculate cast deliver their lines briskly and well, expressing the spirit of Austen (as interpreted by Tim Luscombe). You catch every word and witty stab. Each scenes flows easily into the next as actors change character with their hats, hair styles and accents, all except long-suffering and lovely Fanny, simply perfect!
