The Parsons Son & Basley auction team gear up for a new year of homes under the hammer
Parsons Son & Basley Auctions Ltd are delighted to welcome Toby Carrington as the Auction Manager/Assistant Auctioneer based at their Head Office in Brighton as part of their expansion of the auction department. They have recently opened a dedicated auction office in Chichester which Principal Auctioneer and Head of Department, Richard Payne, is responsible for overseeing.
Toby Carrington has been involved in the Brighton sales and lettings market for over 25 years. Having worked for two large corporate agencies he then set up and ran his own residential sales and lettings business in 1998 which he sold in 2011. Toby has been a consultant trainer since 2004 advising both agencies and landlords on all aspects of residential lettings across the UK.
He has also been very involved as a trainer working on the London Landlord Accreditation Scheme (LLAS) and Landlord Accreditation Wales (LAWS).
Jenni Freeborn, who has successfully managed the department since July 2007 will be now assisting Geoff Holden FRICS full time in the leasehold enfranchisement department prior to completing her RICS qualifications in the autumn.
Their first auction of 2013 is on Thursday 21 February at Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove commencing at 3pm. Parsons Son & Basley hold six property auctions a year. Last year they sold approximately £8m worth of property by auction as well as selling one of the largest residential properties in Brighton for £5.6m.
