Rizzle Kicks ready for Shakedown
Shakedown Festival director Steve ‘Jonesy’ Jones and Latest TV were joined by hip-hop duo (and ex-Brighton boys) Rizzle Kicks for a special Shakedown Festival photocall. The grey winter (spring?!) day didn’t deter our stars from heading out to Stanmer Park to promote summer’s hottest local festival, which takes place this year on 28 September 2013. Rizzle Kicks will be joined at Shakedown by Labrinth, DJ Fresh, Maverick Sabre, Zane Lowe, Andy C and more.

The Martlets Walk To Remember & Jude’s Gems
The Walk To Remember in aid of The Martlets Hospice took place on Sunday 24 March. The family friendly sponsored walk took place along Hove seafront, with entrants of all ages walking together to remember a loved one whilst helping to raise money for the Hospice’s vital services. Over £8,000 has been pledged for The Martlets Hospice.
Meanwhile, Matilda Martlets, the Martlets newest recruit to its fundraising team, met up with an inspirational team of women who have signed up for this year’s Midnight Walk (Friday 14 June 2013). Matilda went to the Royal Alexandra children’s hospital to meet ‘Jude’s Gems’, a group of theatre and day surgery nurses who have come together to do the walk in support of their colleague, Jude Stokes.

Jude Stokes, who works in theatres at the Alex, was diagnosed with advanced stomach cancer in January. Her colleagues were keen to show their support for her and find something positive they could all do together. To support Jude and The Martlets Hospice please visit www.justgiving.com/Jude-Stokes.
