Screwed

A short two-hander under a pub revealed to be a most disturbing and riveting 45 minutes of claustrophobic action between two Brighton flat mates, that were instantly relateable and yet took their semi-abusive relationship to uncomfortable depths we hope never to encounter in real life. Sally C Davis and Helen Pepper-Smith (also the playwright of this piece) are excellent as the two party girls both loving and resenting their friendship, refusing to recognise their scary descent. from new company Brighton Rep Theatre, this certainly marks them out as an independent group worth following closely.
