Boost Juice Bars
Newly opened in Churchill Square, Brighton, is the first Boost Juice Bar in Sussex. The Australian brand is now available for thirsty mall shoppers, following a fantastic launch this month (see Latest People, p5). The Low-Down menu includes full nutritional and allergy info. Smoothies are made fresh right in front of you, using premium ingredients, and you can supplement your juice or smoothie with a booster. There’s refreshing fruit crushes and even hot drinks too. The hardest part is choosing just one item off the menu…

Spa luxury at The Grand Hotel
Following a huge refurbishment, the luxury new spa at The Grand Hotel is now open for business. Spa Manager Genevieve Ainsworth and the team offer a full day spa experience, even if you’re only booked in for a one hour facial! Change into a fluffy spa robe and slippers, unwind in the Relaxation Lounge before or after your treatment, and enjoy massage therapy, a rejuvenating facial or a luxury manicure in the tranquil surroundings. Located downstairs at The Grand Hotel, the hustle and bustle of city life is left behind as soon as you enter the brand new facilities. The Carita facial from France is extremely popular, as are the facials using the finest ESPA products. For energised skin, we love the Enzyme Facial, a rejuvenating peel using organic products (no harsh chemical peels here!). Collagen is boosted, with the application of hot and cold products and wash cloths to boost circulation. It’s a natural and refreshing energy boost – for the skin!

Snack like a celeb
This summer we can’t get enough of Goji Berries from Creative Nature. Models Miranda Kerr and Kate Moss are fans. The naturally sweet Chinese wonder fruit helps beat sugar cravings, and a few handfuls provides more than 500 times the Vitamin C you would get from an orange! No wonder the models favour it! The tin keeps them airtight, but pop some in a snack box or sandwich bag for a healthy snack when you’re on the go. You get used to the flavour if you eat them on their own, but you can mix them with your favourite cereal too!
