Police hunt man with Brighton links to send him back to prison
A man with links to Brighton and Lewes is being hunted by police so that he can be sent back to prison.
Craig Aldis, 29, was recalled to prison in April, Sussex Police said.
Aldis was described as white, of stocky or muscular build, about 5ft 10in tall, with short brown hair. He is believed to be a body builder and has a tattoo of a smoking skull on his left arm.
Detective Sergeant Dave Osland said: “Aldis has links to the Brighton and Lewes areas and was last known to work in the Hassocks and Bolney areas where he was employed as a roofer.”
Anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
Aldis was jailed after stealing a car while drunk, running over a man in Hollingdean and fleeing the scene in February 2003 when he was 19.
