Transforming unused office space

Two local property experts Oakley Commercial and Lewis & Co Planning have teamed up to offer property owners a way through the legislation maze.

Chris Oakley, Executive Chairman at Oakley commented: “In Brighton, the office market is over supplied with poor quality space which sits vacant. This space can now provide much needed new homes. As office space availability decreases rents should become more attractive for investors and they will look to invest again in office development, providing new modern business space.”

Lewis & Co and Oakley are offering a combined consultation fee for property owners who need to know can they convert and should they convert.

Hillreed Homes reports superb sales figures for 2013 in the new build homes market
Hillreed Homes is reporting exceptional sales levels at their many sites in the South East as 2013 proves to be the year when the recession is receding rapidly.

“With sites across Sussex, Kent and Hampshire we have found a level of buyers which is quite astounding but nevertheless gratifying,” says Jo Richards, Head of Sales and Marketing.

“New sites are selling out within a matter of weeks and reservations are being taken on plots long before they are ready for occupation. Without a doubt the incentives we offer, the Government Schemes available, the prime locations of our sites and the quality of our homes in both build and design, attract buyers. Assistance with deposits is aiding buyers and mortgage rates are exceedingly low, so paying off the mortgage can often be cheaper than paying a rental and of course by buying property you are investing in your future.”

An example of the success of sales is at Iwade, a rapidly expanding village in Kent where award winning Hillreed Homes, has built before. The latest development, Iwade Meadows, sold three plots immediately on the opening weekend At Hassocks, the commuter village in West Sussex, there has unprecedented interest in a site which was only launched a few weeks ago. Out of a total of nine plots there are now only two remaining.

At Kings Hill, popularity of homes continues unabated. Hillreed has built over 14 sites at this highly regarded location near West Malling in Kent and currently has just eight homes available the rest firmly being sold or reserved.

Eastergate, near Chichester in West Sussex was a small enclave of executive style properties.

One buyer bought three homes and the site is now completely sold. Lower Halstow and Eccles in Kent and Medstead in Hampshire have also sold out in recent weeks.

So, if you are seriously looking for a brand new home and also want to benefit from some of the amazing incentives currently available whether you are a first time buyer or have a property to sell, you need to look carefully – and quickly – at Hillreed’s web site www.hillreed.co.uk

New sites coming on board shortly include Findon village in West Sussex, (three, five bedroom detached houses); Hoath near Canterbury (three, four bedroom detached homes); Leigh also in Kent where there will be 13 new homes of two, three and four bedrooms and West Malling near Maidstone where five, three and four bedroom homes are to be built).

Full information on properties, availability and incentives can be found on the Hillreed Homes web site www.hillreed.co.uk
