The Comedy Network
Worthing’s newest comedy night returned with a bang with three sparkling acts. MC Mark Smith got things off to a good start, eventually breaking down the audience from their collective reserve to a more relaxed state. Kieran Boyd followed up with a set of tight, intelligent gags. For me his sharp, off the cuff interaction with the audience was prefferable to his material as it showcased his obvious talent greater. Lastly the audience were treated to Carl Donnelly’s passive aggressive take on clothes, mates chat, his girlfriend’s bird phobia and numerous tangential points in between. More despairing then angry but always with a huge smile. Top notch all round.
