The Reduced Shakespeare Co. presents ‘The Complete Works of Shakespeare’

I know our three American friends have been going for years and the purists probably hate them, but I loved it! This is a comedy show (not a kids’ show or panto – parents take note) and should be seen through that filter but underneath it all is an encyclopaedic knowledge of old Will. And an honesty about it all too. A lot of the plays are wonderful with beautiful poetic soliloquies, however honestly, some of them are a bit lame. But everything is cherished by the group and explored for all its comedy potential. Insightful but silly, bawdy but brilliant. A must see!
