Sean Lock – Purple Van Man

If comedian Sean Lock was in any way apprehensive about walking out on stage to see the venue packed out to the gills for his new ‘Purple Van Man’ show last night, it certainly did not show. Well established in the world of UK comedy, Lock was effortlessly funny with his penchant for the absurd slotting in nicely with his observational humour.

Adopting the ‘grumpy old man’ persona, his comments on the subjects of drinking, career choices and Jeremy Vine were wonderfully sarcastic and comically spot-on as you found yourself nodding in agreement and applauding his talent at finding amusement in the every-day mundane.
