Fishskin Trousers

The scenography showed perfection through simplicity where the cast and the lighting performed like clockwork: everything expertly synchronised. The result was that with only a light and three people we were floating on the waves that this drama creates, transporting us to three different eras at the same time. The performance was consistently good with nothing out of place, and the audience completely captivated with no choice but to surrender to the powerful narrative. In addition to being a flawless endeavour by Finborough, the enchanting venue complimented it beautifully. Brevity is the soul of wit, so that is “Fish-skin Trousers”.
