Marcel Lucont

Marcel Lucont is an arrogant Frenchman, who insists on denigrating the English for both our mild manner and our inexplicable love of mild cheese. Thankfully he’s a hilarious comic creation, whose songs, poetry and anecdotes are eloquent and perfectly timed tales. Executed with studied nonchalance and a wryly raised eyebrow, he sadly noted that “depilation is the shame of our nation”. There was a hint of Demetri Martin in a clever bit on sexual positions using numerical visual aids, and expect to be seeing a lot more of the talented and memorable Lucont in the future.
