Performing for the first time since their album release, the two piece girl band thrashed out a White Stripes-esque performance, mixing a deep south sound with bluesy rock that shook the venue. Lindsey Troy, lead singer, dominated the stage with sultry interludes between songs, reminiscent of a ’70’s rock icon; while Julie Edwards, drummer, exuded a moody presence from the side of the stage. The pair produced an incredible sound that climaxed near the end of the set with a sexed up cover of ‘I Put a Spell On You’. A powerful night from this provocative pairing.
