Three boys from Brighton arrested for stealing from cars

Three teenage boys from Brighton have been arrested on suspicion of stealing property other people’s cars or homes.

Sussex Police said that they were seen trying car doors in Tivoli Crescent, Brighton, and The Green, Hove, off Dyke Road and Dyke Road Avenue on Sunday night (24 November) at about 10pm.

They were found with various items including sunglasses, a gold watch, a bus ID in the name of Nisha Wolfstein and a set of eight keys on an Arsenal FC key fob.

PC James Botting said: “We believe someone may have had their home or car broken into and may not have yet realised.

“If anyone has any information in relation to these items going missing or being stolen then please get in touch.”

Two 15-year-old boys and a 13-year-old, all from Brighton, were arrested and have been bailed until Sunday 15 December.
