CineCity: Floating Skyscrapers

This simply moving and beautifully shot film showing a young man’s coming to terms with his sexuality blew the audience away this evening. Not only was the approach the movie took dramatic and hard hitting, but the acting was understated with several well used silences, which spoke volumes about the internal dialogue of the characters.

What made it really work though was the exploration of blatent sexuality as well as the vunerabilities of not just the two leading men, but the quirky alternative mother who has big dreams and never follows them through. This film was engaging, daring and well worth watching.
